This Privacy Policy explains how SoftSky App LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pastey application (“App”).


We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

1. Information We Collect


1.1 User Content


Pastey allows you to store text, images, links, code snippets, and other content (“User Content”).

  • User Content is stored locally on your device and/or synced using Apple iCloud via Core Data.
  • We do not collect, view, access, scan, or monitor your User Content.
  • All content remains under your control and ownership.


1.2 Personal Information


We do not require you to create an account and do not collect personal information such as your name, address, or phone number.


If you contact us for support, we may collect:

  • Your email address
  • Information you voluntarily provide in your message


1.3 Usage Data


We do not collect analytics, tracking data, or behavioral usage data.


1.4 Payment Information


All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.

We do not collect or store payment or billing information.

2. How We Use Information


We use limited information only to:

  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve app stability and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations


We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

3. Data Storage and Security


3.1 iCloud Storage


User Content may be synced through Apple iCloud, subject to Apple’s privacy and security practices. We rely on Apple’s infrastructure for encryption and data protection.


3.2 Local Storage


Some data is stored locally on your device using Apple Core Data.


3.3 Security Measures


We take reasonable measures to protect the App, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your devices and iCloud account.

4. Data Sharing


We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or User Content with third parties.


We may disclose information only if required to do so by law or legal process.

5. Data Retention


We do not retain User Content on our servers.


Support communications are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request or comply with legal obligations.

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)


Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent where applicable
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority


Because we do not store User Content or personal profiles, most data remains entirely under your control.

7. Children’s Privacy


The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.


If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Third-Party Services


Pastey relies on Apple services such as:

  • iCloud
  • App Store In-App Purchases


Their use of data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies. We are not responsible for Apple’s data handling practices.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
